Accessing ISCN 2024 is a three-step process:

1. Create a MyKarger account (Karger is the eBook publisher).
2. Contact the SA Health Library Service for an access code.
3. Sign in to ISCN via the SA Health library and using your MyKarger personal account.

Create a MyKarger account 

1. Navigate to karger.com/my-account/register

2. Enter your email address. You can use your work email or a personal account. Click Next. (If there is an account associated with your email address you will be taken to the login screen.)

3. Enter your name. Click Next.

4. Enter your role details, tick the box to agree to the terms and conditions, tick the I'm not a robot box and click Create Account.

5. You will receive on-screen confirmation that your account has been created. A verification email will also be sent to you including a link to set up your password (please check your nominated email account).

Contact the SA Health Library Service for an access code

1. Email the library using LibraryDigitalServices@sa.gov.au or submit a request via a form.

2. Wait for response. Responses will only occur Monday to Friday during business hours.

Accessing the ISCN via the library catalogue

1. Access ISCN 2024 on the SA Health library catalogue here. Alternatively, you can do a catalogue search on the SA Health Library homepage.

2. On the SA Health library catalogue record, click 'View eBook'.

3. Click 'Sign In or Activate'.

4. Select the 'Sign In' tab and enter your MyKarger login credentials. Click the Next button to reveal the password field.

5. On the Welcome screen, select 'Enter access code'.

6. Enter the access code. Tick the Terms and Conditions box and click Validate.

7. You should see a Product activated screen. Click Continue.

8. You have now reached the ISCN title page. Scroll down to view the table of contents
