Q. My Therapeutic Guidelines (eTG) app token no longer works

Therapeutic Guidelines has released a new version of their app. If your token no longer works, please follow the below process.

To use the new Therapeutic Guidelines app you will need to download the new version of the app, login to the platform's website via the link below (on the device on which you have installed the app), and generate an access key for authentication.

To follow this process you will need a library account and your mobile device.


  1. Download the new app.
    - Download app for iOS
    - Download app for Android
     
  2. Using the device on which you have installed the app, click on https://salus.idm.oclc.org/login?url=https://app.tg.org.au/ or type it into your internet app (Safari or Chrome).
     
  3. Login with your library account.
     
  4. Select the menu icon (three horizontal lines).
     
  5. Select Access by Department of Health and Wellbeing (long red bar).
     
  6. Select Copy access key* (green menu box above black Log out box).
     
  7. Open the Therapeutic Guidelines app.
     
  8. Select the menu icon (three horizontal lines).
     
  9. Select Access key login button.
     
  10. Paste the Access key into the box and select Submit.
     
  11. You should receive a message saying Access key set and be able to access the app.

*If you do not see Copy access key as a menu item you will need to clear your browser cache (view instructions for Safari and Chrome) and then repeat from Step 1 above.


Tip: Save your access key in a secure location, such as a notes app. The access key remains valid for up to 6 months and can be reused if you change devices or reinstall the application.
